... because my DSL connection went down, and I was at Staff College in Toronto so I couldn't power cycle the modem until today.

If anyone has a spare DSL modem they could loan me, I wouldn't mind it for tests.

I've got an old Linksys modem, non-wifi if that would help.

I was in Barbados for two weeks, and multiple redundant load-sharing uplinks, redundant power supplies, UPS systems, RAID arrays with tape backups do not survive an overdue ISP bill. Sorry for the inconvenience.
